Dr. Tiwari completed his Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) in Physics, with Biomedical Physics as a special elective, from the Central Department of Physics, Tribhuvan University of Nepal. After completing his M.Sc., Dr. Tiwari taught Physics courses, including engineering Physics and Biomedical Physics in different campuses of Tribhuvan University. 

  Dr. Tiwari obtained his PhD degree from Florida International University (FIU), Miami, FL, USA in 2015. During his PhD tenure, Dr. Tiwari conducted scientific research in Biophysics, primarily focused on investigating biomolecular interactions at the nanoscale and use of surface plasmon resonance (SPR) technology to study biomolecular interactions. 

  Currently, Dr. Tiwari is a faculty member in the Department of Oncology, School of Medicine at Georgetown University. Dr. Tiwari's current research includes investigation of protein-protein and protein-DNA interactions as well as interaction of small molecules with proteins and DNA for drug discovery. Dr. Tiwari's research utilizes both computational and experimental techniques, including molecular docking, molecular dynamics (MD) simulations, virtual screening, and SPR.
